CogniPath Education is an independent recruitment agent for London School of Planning and Management (LSPM), the OTHM and Qualifi approved centre that delivers, assesses and certifies the programmes described on this site. This site is published by the agent and is not operated by LSPM, OTHM or Qualifi. Applications are made directly to LSPM, and LSPM pays the agent a fee when a learner it introduces enrols.
Who publishes this site
ucaspoints.com is published by CogniPath Education. You can reach us through the enquiry form. Every enquiry sent through this site comes to us, not to a call centre and not to the college.
Enquiries about the content on this site are answered by CogniPath Education (Education adviser, CogniPath Education). Use the enquiry form.
We act as an independent recruitment agent for London School of Planning and Management (LSPM). In plain terms: we explain the Level 3 diplomas LSPM delivers, help you decide whether one of them, or a different route altogether, is right for you, and if you want to go ahead we introduce you to LSPM's admissions team. LSPM pays us a fee when a learner we introduce enrols. You pay nothing extra for that; the fee you pay is LSPM's published fee, the same as if you had walked in off Ludgate Hill.
The calculator, the Tariff tables and the guides are a different matter. We maintain them as our own editorial work, because the people who contact us most often have been given a Tariff total by someone and do not know what it means. They earn us nothing directly, and the honest answer to a lot of Tariff questions is a UCAS application, not a diploma.
What we do not do. We do not teach, set or mark assignments, admit anyone, register anyone with an awarding body, issue certificates, or set fees, dates or study modes. Where a page on this site describes any of those things, it is describing what LSPM does, and the page should say so. If you find one that does not, tell us and we will fix it.
We are based outside the United Kingdom. That does not change your rights as a UK consumer: this site markets to UK learners, so UK consumer and advertising rules apply to what we publish, and the privacy notice explains what our location means for your data.
Who delivers the programmes
London School of Planning and Management ([LSPM legal entity name], company number [LSPM company number]) is the approved centre for every Level 3 diploma described on this site. It is approved by OTHM and by Qualifi, both awarding organisations regulated by Ofqual. Its address is Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN, and its website is lspm.org.uk.
An approved centre is the organisation the awarding body has vetted and permits to deliver its qualifications. LSPM registers you with OTHM or Qualifi, employs the tutors who teach you, sets and marks the assignments against the awarding body's criteria, moderates that marking internally, presents your work for the awarding body's external verification, and requests your certificate when you have passed. It decides who is admitted, what the fee is and when intakes run. If you have a problem with any of that, it is LSPM's complaints procedure that applies, not ours.
Because the link above is to an organisation that pays us, it is marked as a sponsored link, as are all links from this site to LSPM.
How the information on this site is produced
Tariff values are reproduced from the published UCAS Tariff tables for 2024 entry onwards. We do not adjust, round or extend them to qualifications UCAS has not scored. Every table links to the official UCAS page and asks you to confirm there, because UCAS revises entries between cycles and we may be behind.
Programme facts, meaning titles, Ofqual numbers, credits, hours, unit lists and the awarding body's entry wording, are taken from the OTHM and Qualifi specifications and the Ofqual register by a fetching tool we maintain, and are attributed on every page. Where a specification does not state a value, the page says so rather than guessing. Awarding-body marketing copy is never reproduced.
Editorial, meaning who a programme suits, where it leads and the questions people ask, is ours, written under Education adviser, CogniPath Education's name. It draws on reading the specifications closely, on how LSPM's admissions and progression work in practice, and on what people we have referred tell us afterwards. It is not LSPM's account of its own teaching, and where we describe classroom practice we are relaying what LSPM has told us or what the specification requires. The review date in the footer shows when it was last checked.
What is left out: testimonials we cannot verify, statistics we did not collect, university names without a written agreement behind them, and any claim that a Level 3 diploma carries UCAS Tariff points. Where a page would ordinarily carry a photograph or a quote, you will see a labelled slot saying what is intended to go there and who would supply it.
Why the site exists
People find out too late that a qualification they hold does not score on the Tariff, or that the total they were counting on does not meet the offer. This site moves that discovery earlier. It gives anyone a calculator that uses the real values and prints them, an honest account of what a total does and does not decide, and a plain description of the routes that remain when the total is not enough, including the one we are paid to recruit for and the ones we are not. If it sends someone to an Access course or a straight UCAS application instead of to LSPM, it has done its job.
Corrections and complaints
If a value or a fact is wrong, Use Enquiry form and we will check it against the source and correct it. Complaints about this site or our advice come to us; complaints about LSPM's teaching, admissions, fees or certificates go to LSPM. Both routes are set out here.
