Not on the list? GCSEs, functional skills and many regulated Level 3 diplomas, including the OTHM and Qualifi diplomas on this site, have no Tariff value. The calculator shows them as adding nothing, which is correct. See what those routes lead to instead.
Rules the calculator cannot apply for you
- Do not double count. An AS level does not count if you completed the A level in the same subject, and a Scottish Higher does not count alongside its Advanced Higher. Remove the smaller one.
- Nested BTECs. If you completed an Extended Diploma, the Diploma and Extended Certificate stages are inside it. Count only the largest.
- IB is by component. Add each Higher Level subject, each Standard Level subject, the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge separately. The 45-point total is not converted.
- Access to HE is by credit. The three rows here are anchor values for all-Distinction, all-Merit and all-Pass. A mixed profile needs the UCAS calculator.
- Courses set their own rules. Some exclude General Studies, cap AS points, or ignore the EPQ. Your total here is the maximum, not the guaranteed figure.
