What LSPM's fee normally covers
The following is what the specifications require a centre to provide and what LSPM has told us its fee includes. Confirm the list against LSPM's written quote; if the two differ, the quote is right and this page is out of date.
- Registration with the awarding organisation, OTHM or Qualifi, and the certificate on completion.
- Tuition by LSPM's tutors in the study mode you chose, including the scheduled sessions and a named tutor.
- Access to the learning materials for every unit.
- Marking and internal moderation by LSPM, and one resubmission per unit within LSPM's assessment policy.
- Tutor and administrative support from enrolment to certificate.
It does not normally cover books you choose to buy, your own computer and internet connection, or further resubmissions beyond the policy. If a programme has a cost the list above does not mention, LSPM's written quote should say so; if it does not, ask before you enrol.
Ways to pay
LSPM accepts the payment options listed above (instalments or pay-in-full with a 5% bursary where shown), agreed in writing before you start. There is no interest and no third-party finance through this site: you pay LSPM, not a lender. Where an employer is sponsoring you, LSPM invoices the employer directly on receipt of a purchase order or written confirmation. The enrolment paperwork is the version that binds.
Student finance
Level 3 diplomas from OTHM and Qualifi delivered by a private centre are not normally eligible for Student Finance England tuition loans or Advanced Learner Loans. Do not assume otherwise. If funding matters to your decision, ask LSPM's admissions team to confirm the position for the specific programme and intake before you enrol; we can raise the question for you, but only LSPM can answer it.
Refunds and withdrawal
LSPM's enrolment terms include a cooling-off period during which you can withdraw for a full refund, less any awarding-organisation registration fee already paid on your behalf. After that, refunds follow LSPM's published terms, which you receive with the quote. Your contract is with LSPM, so a fee or refund dispute goes to LSPM's own complaints procedure, not to this site; the two routes are explained here.
Comparing the cost with other routes
An Access to HE Diploma at a further education college may be free or loan-funded for adults, and a university foundation year is charged at full undergraduate fees with student finance available. Both score on the Tariff; a Level 3 diploma at LSPM does not. The right comparison is not price alone but what each route leads to for you. We will make that comparison honestly when you ask, including when it points away from LSPM and earns this site nothing.
